Background
- Design and implement bare-metal network protocol stacks (TCP/IP, UDP, custom protocols)
- Build socket-level implementations and network drivers for embedded Linux and RTOS environments
- Integrate networking capabilities into ARM-based SoCs and custom hardware platforms
- Develop bootloaders and BSPs with network functionality
- Optimize network performance for real-time, resource-constrained systems
Requirements
- 5+ years hands-on experience implementing (not just using) network protocols at the stack level
- Deep expertise in C/C++ for embedded systems
- Proven track record of TCP/IP stack integration, socket programming, and protocol development
- Experience with embedded Linux networking, kernel modules, and device drivers
Preferred
- Experience building network infrastructure for autonomous systems or robotics
- RTOS networking implementation (FreeRTOS, VxWorks, QNX)
- Custom protocol development for specialized hardware
