Background

  • Design, implement, and execute detailed test cases, plans and procedures based on system requirements and specifications to ensure thorough validation of system functionalities and performance
  • Work collaboratively across hardware and software teams in a fast-paced, quick-reaction design and development environment to comprehensively test products as they move from concept through prototype and into production
  • Assess system test coverage against established requirements using requirements management tools
  • Understand end-to-end hardware and software evaluation methodologies, including performance monitoring, test automation, and data analysis
  • Own all development testing activities at a program level, thoroughly tracking efforts and coordinating with POCs to ensure cross-functional coverage

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in testing and verification in support of product design and development
  • Strong engineering foundation in a core discipline such as software engineering, hardware design, or FPGA development
  • Experience implementing military standards for qualification testing and acceptance testing to include the use of MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, etc.
  • Strong technical communication skills, providing the ability to communicate technical information to and across teams, leaderships and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to execute hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) testing to effectively verify and validate system requirements

Preferred

  • Knowledge of networking concepts
  • Demonstrated experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Proficient in utilizing test automation frameworks and programming languages (MATLAB, Python) for comprehensive post-test data analysis and visualization
