Background
- Designs, develops, tests, and supports digital signal processing and radio frequency applications, such as antenna design, RF path analysis, SDR applications, low noise amplifier, mixers, tuner evaluations, receiver, transmitter, digital filtering, analog filtering, and signal modifications in government organizations
- Supports firmware and hardware development languages for embedded system design for microcontrollers, FPGA-s, SoC, PoM, and single board computers VME, VPX, PXI, etc.
- Assists with the design and development of PCB and CCA based on IPC industry standards
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in electrical or computer engineering
- 6+ years of experience working as an electrical/electronics engineer in development, design, and prototyping requirements OR 6+ years of experience working as a computer engineer in development, design, and prototyping
- Demonstrated experience programming and configured one of more of the following; microcontrollers, FPGAs, SoC, PoM, single board computers such as VME, VPX, and PXI
- Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance
Preferred
- Experience with root cause analysis of RF systems and interoperability
- Knowledge of sensor signal processing, signal detection, probability – statistics
- Experience integrating sensor, shooter, and command and control systems
- Knowledge of sensor array processing methods, antennas, and propagation
