Background
- Plans and prepares technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of changes and/or development in a healthcare organization
- Prepares workflow charts and diagrams to specify in detail operations to be performed by equipment and computer programs and operations to be performed by personnel in system
- Assist in the research and development of detailed specifications and requirements of information technology components that are requested
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration
- Project management skills necessary to coordinate multi-phase, multi-disciplined projects with all levels of medical center staff
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience with information technology in one or more of the following areas
- Expertise with VMware, cisco routers/switches/wireless, scripts, technical writing, SQL Server, TCP/IP, software development, structured query language or other similar areas
Preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare operations in a patient care setting
- Certifications such as VMWare certified professional
- Certified Cisco Network Administrator or similar
