Background
- Create and execute a comprehensive cyber threat intelligence and response strategy to protect the financial organization against cyber threats
- Prepare and present detailed reports on cybersecurity incidents, threat intelligence, and response activities to senior management and relevant stakeholders
- Manage and lead a team of cybersecurity professionals, including analysts, incident responders, and threat hunters
- Direct and coordinate the organization’s response to cyber incidents, ensuring effective containment, eradication, and recovery by serving as leader of CSIRT
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CIS, computer science, cyber security, information security, or similar technology discipline and/or equivalent amount of years of work experience
- 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity which includes a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and frameworks
- 5+ years of experience in incident response management which includes proficiency in incident response processes, detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery
- Minimum of 5 years’ of management and/or team lead experience managing a team of information security professionals
Preferred
- Industry certifications such as CISSP and Security+
- Prior banking and/or financial services industry experience
- Demonstrated experience working in a SOC
- Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, XDR, and firewalls
- Knowledge of threat intelligence methodologies, sources, and tools for gathering, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence
