Background
- Extensive network of partnerships with government and research institutions and healthcare organizations
- Develop a deep understanding of the business unit’s capabilities
- Review and analyze previously funded and non-funded contracts to identify trends, areas of strength, and opportunities for improvement
- Identifying and pursuing relevant funding opportunities from government agencies, private foundations, and academic and industry partners
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the data science and public health communities
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to gather critical information, refine proposals, and ensure the technical accuracy of all business development materials
- Conducting research and gathering insights on funding opportunities and potential partners
Requirements
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in data science, public health, bioinformatics, or a related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in business development, proposal writing, and securing funding within the data science and public health sectors
- Strong understanding of data science and AI, with specific expertise in one or more of the following areas: RWE, pharmacoepidemiology, drug development, HEOR, clinical trial design and analysis

- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
