Background
- Create and maintain commercial systems to include manipulating hardware and software to meet the standards of a secure system
- Maintain familiarity with two-factor authentication and associated solutions the team could use when confronted with two-factor issues
- Responsible for ensuring that the systems are designed and built to the highest security standards balanced with appropriate situational considerations
- Procure and set up hardware/software and telecom solutions in a short period of time
- Work with a team of other similarly focused engineers, as well as with other non-technical partners across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree related to the specific skill from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 6 years of experience specific to the skills identified in a position’s qualification summary
- Demonstrated experience with custom communications
- Experience collecting and analyzing network protocols
- Hands-on experience with specialized communications solutions
- Experience deploying systems
Preferred
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C/C++, etc.
- Familiarity with network and log analysis tools, such as Splunk, LogRhythm, Wireshark
- Exposure to AL/ML technologies to analyze network protocols and communications
- Experience in VPN set up; reviewing popular services. Also, experience in two-factor authentication
- Experience in trouble shooting software and hardware issues
