Background
- Integrate, analyze, and interpret biological and clinical data sets using R and other statistical tools
- Implement bioinformatics pipelines with established workflows for data processing and analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and clinical scientist, third party vendors, to initiate next-generation sequencing workflows and present data to project teams
- Index and manage sample repositories and manifests to ensure sample availability for study design and data analysis
- Prepare and present data reports, visualizations, and summaries to stakeholders
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in biostatistics or related field
- Associate Data Scientist II requires a minimum of 2+ years’ experience for B.S. in bioinformatics, data sciences, or related fields
- Data Scientist I requires a minimum of 3+ years’ experience for B.S. or 0+ years for M.S. in bioinformatics, data sciences, or related fields
Preferred
- Basic knowledge of molecular biology, genetics, and related life sciences is a plus
