Background
- Analyze, coordinate, develop, test, and maintain clinical and operational systems exchanging data via HL7, DICOM, and other interface protocols
- Support proprietary and industry standard interfaces between clinical equipment, servers, software and outside entities
- Provide support for electronic medical records system interfaces including configuration and troubleshooting
- Communicate changes or new initiatives and key issues to supervisors, physicians, and staff
- Assume special projects as directed and document them appropriately
- Provide support for all clinical and business applications as well as network, server and user hardware
Requirements
- 2 years clinical interface engineering experience and two years with a healthcare client or a healthcare related environment
- Complex project management experience
- In depth knowledge of EMRs
- Experience with database and programming languages
- Experience administering interfaces
Preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team with staff at various levels
- Must have certification : CorePoint, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, or Mirth
