Background
- Develop analysis plans, run M&S to execute the plan, perform analysis on the results, prepare reports, and provide reviews of products
- Assess MDS threats, capability gaps, challenges, needs and opportunities, and develop potential system mitigations and capability revolutions and evolutions at the architecture level
- Support modeling & simulation efforts, including analysis efforts on DoD HPC
- Act as a subject matter expert in future concept definition, architecture analyses, and reviewing preliminary results
Requirements
- Master’s degree in STEM field with 12+ years of experience in missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project
- Extensive experience in the modeling, assessment, and evaluation of future missile defense architectures
- Deep understanding of the current MDS architecture and future concepts
- Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance
Preferred
- Experience with the definition and use of advanced concepts and algorithms for the M&S of MDS architectures
- Specialized MDS analysis experience in threat characterization, trajectories, RF sensing/signatures, and/or EO/IR sensing/signatures
- Knowledge in MATLAB and/or Python, including HPC and/or MBSE experience
