Background
- Help with design and then implements all levels of the solution: data layer, application code, user interface
- Programming/coding from the data layer through the application layer, through the user interface
- Decomposing functional requirements into technical specifications and tasks, software development and maintenance tools and languages such as Java, C#/.NET, SQL, JavaScript libraries, HTML, etc.)
- Developing and maintaining unit test script, APIs, web services for integration between system and data sets
- Works with the Lead Engineer to deliver a completed software solution
Requirements
- Application layer programming languages (e.g. Java, C#)
- Database / data layer experience (e.g. SQL, unstructured data, Python, R, data management and analytics tools)
- Front end development skills (e.g. modern javascript frameworks, HTML, CSS, bootstrap, etc.)
- Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining systems on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Preferred
- Experience in Agile / Scrum
