Background
- Evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes, including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination
- Conduct research and interview SMEs to gather information for incorporation into technical documentation
- Interact with OEM engineering leadership reviewing and commenting on technical artifacts, providing technical input to the OEM project execution, while providing awareness to Joint Program Office leadership
- Provide oversight of OEM testing and verification of contracted F-35 EW capabilities
- Review and provide corrections to test reports in accordance with Joint Program Office policy
- Document any defects found during testing independently and separately from the OEM using government information technology networks and resources
Requirements
- MS or MA degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline or additional 4 years of relevant work experience, with a bachelor’s degree, may be substituted for a master’s degree
- 3-10 years’ experience performing the duties described in the functional description
- 3+ years’ electronic warfare experience
- 3+ years’ systems engineering hardware and software experience
- 3+ years’ experience writing and updating system requirements and design specifications/documents, white papers, and engineering notes
- 3+ years’ experience developing and executing test plans
- 3+ years’ Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition experience
Preferred
- Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Project, MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
