Background
- Serve as Functional and Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) for electronic warfare threats, the AN/ALQ 260 self-contained expendable digital radio frequency memory (DRFM) jammer, radar data, and test and evaluation
- Integrate intelligence functions to create a feedback loop where systems collect intelligence that improves their own effectiveness while simultaneously supporting broader air warfare operations
- Write and update intermediate and final technical documents including system requirements and design specifications/documents, white papers, and engineering notes
- Lead project-related meetings (milestone reviews, status, design, etc.), and both host and conduct technical meetings and teleconferences
Requirements
- MS or MA degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline
- Additional 4 years of relevant work experience, with a bachelor’s degree, may be substituted for a master’s degree
- 3-10 years’ experience performing the duties described in the functional description
- 3+ years’ electronic warfare experience
- 3+ years’ experience writing and updating system requirements and design specifications/documents, white papers, and engineering notes
- 3+ years’ radar data and threat experience
- 3+ years’ test and evaluation experience
Preferred
- Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Project, MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Intelligence background and cloud experience
